My story…… Entertainment and music have been in my blood since I was a child. My parents still remind me of the days when my brother and I would put on leather jackets and perform musical skits to “Greased Lightning.” Skits progressed to recitals with years of practice and lessons on piano, guitar and drums. And my love of drumming lead me to form my garage band, terata, in 1994. Though I received my bachelor’s degree and am a seasoned marketing communications professional, my passion to entertain is what drives me. In 1997, I completed my life-long dream and graduated from The Second City Conservatory’s two-year improvisation program. Shortly thereafter, I took my band, terata, out of the garage and hit the clubs of Chicago. As drummer and manager, I launched a professional, award-winning band that has been critically reviewed and is well respected. But it was after my own wedding in 2001, that my DJ suggested I enter the field of DJing. It was not long thereafter I started down the rewarding path of becoming a professional wedding DJ. In this role, I am excited to combine my professional and musical skills in an event that is always unique. My desire as your DJ is simple – to give you as wonderful of an experience as I had at my wedding. It is your big day and I will not forget that! |
